Q1: I have a Sony F-828 camera, a Maxview II (2" focuser) lens and am interested in purchasing the TeleVue-76 or Pronto for Birding (portable) and some form of tripod. Any thoughts about the 76 vs. Pronto for this purpose. What are tripod options for supporting this digiscope setup (standard camera mount and TeleVue-76 mounting ring)? Is there any option besides the TeleVue Tripod that will mate up with their scopes? Also as feed back, I checked, Availability: Usually ships in 7 to 10 business days target on your site and it does not work properly. Regards, ...Bob

A: The 76 is going to be the best option as the Pront has actually been discontinued. The best Tripods for the 76 are the Tele-Vue tripods but you can attach this to any standard photographic tripod. And thank you for the feedback we appreciate it.
