Q1: is the sky tour a motorized system and if not is there a motorized system for the gibraltar mount. Im looking for the best slow motion system for the above mount

A: The sky tour is a computerized guide, it will not move the scope for you. You would want to get a motor and clock drive for the mount to allow for tracking.

Gibraltar Mount with Sky Tour Installed - Ash Finish. Our longer, heavier 4" scopes are best matched to the rock-solid Gibraltar mount. The larger bearing surfaces and thicker wood legs best handle the loads, especially for high power viewing. The Gibraltar tripods are finely crafted and American made in a choice of solid ash or walnut wood for beauty and quick vibration dampening. Leg extensions raise the tripod height to 5 feet, still ideally sized for use with our Air-Chair observing stool. An accessory tray ties the legs together for rigidity. Best Matched with our Tele Vue-102, Tele Vue NP101, Renaissance-102.
