Q1: Will this focuser work with a Meade LXD-75 8" SCT?
A: We don't believe the Celestron Electronic Focus motor will work with the LXD75, at least not as an off-the-shelf conversion. Meade has not made an electronic focus motor yet to fit the LXD75 scopes.
Q2: Can you add a longer cable to control this auto focuser?
A: Celestron does not offer a longer cable. You might be able to find one at an electronic store, but beware of voiding the warranty.
