Q1: does this focuser plug into the focuser port?

A: The answer depends on the type of scope you have. You can plug the microfocuser into the Focus port of the LX90 APM or the LX200 control panel, and it will be controlled by the arrow keys of the Autostar hand controller. Alternatively, you can plug it into the supplied hand controller for use on other SCTs.

Q2: would the Meade #1205 electric focuser interface too? with the lx90

A: The Meade #1205 is a stand-alone focusing device with its own hand control box. It doesn't interface electronically with an LX90's hand controller. The #1206 focuser, however, DOES interface with the Autostar controller, just as the #1209 does.

Q3: Will this microfocuser fit the meade Schmidt-Newtonian scopes (LXD75-SN8 or LXD75-SN10)?

A: Unfortunately, the Meade Zero-Image-Shift Microfocuser only works with Schmidt-Cassegrain telescopes.

Q4: Do I have to use the hand control unit on my Meade SCT or does the 1209 come with its own hand controller?
