Q1: Does this finderscope set include the mounting bracket and nuts for the Celestron Nexstar 114GT and 130GT models?

A: Yes, it is all included to connect very easily to the 114GT or 130GT models.

Q2: I have two questions. I am wondering which side of the finder scope to look through? Is it the side where I can see ther laser dot. Or the other side? Second which part of the finder scope goes closest to the front of the Telescope. The manual was not very clear of that part. Thanks, Anthony

A: The part that the dot shines on (The side with the lens) will face the front of the telescope. you will look through it so that you can see the dot on the lens of the finder scope.

Q3: What is the field of view for the Celestron red dot finderscope #51630?

A: The red dot has no magnification you just align the dot with the object you wish to view. The field of view is the same as the naked eye.

Q4: Will this fit with zhumell eclipse 114.

A: Yes, the Star Pointer should work. If the telescope's dovetail plate doesn't match, it can be removed.

Point it out!

Celestron's Star Pointer Finderscope is a 1X, or "unit-power," finderscope designed to let you point your telescope while you're scanning the sky with both eyes. Finding objects couldn't be easier! A mirror lens projects an LED-illuminated pinpoint into the line of sight, providing a red dot to center on an object you want to view. Easily attaching to any telescope, it greatly simplifies finding celestial objects by acting like a laser pointer pointed into the sky. Brightness is adjustable, and the Star Pointer can be used for daytime observing as well as night. It also comes in handy when you're using binoculars.
