Q1: Do you have a solar filter for the Meade ETX90?
A: Thank you for visiting our site. There is a solar filter for the ETX 90 made by Scopetronix, which we carry on our website. The cost is $104.95. If you have any questions let us know we are happy to help.
Q2: does celestron make a solar filter to fit on the c11 advanced series scope?
A: No i am sorry they do not currently make a solar filter that large.
Q3: Is there anny way I can get one of these filters on my 70mm celestron skymaster binoculars? I do not care if it looks silly or not or if I have to rig it up with pvc or somthing, I just want to look at the sun without burning my eyes out. Thanx.
A: the best thing i can tell you is these are designed for telescopes not the binoculars. As you only have two (eyes) chances I would not recommend looking at the sun with anything other than what is directly designed to be used for that purpose. With these binoculars there is not a solar filter made for them. however an inexpensive binocular that will allow you to look at the sun is the BinoMite made by Coronado.
