Q2: I have a Meade LX-90 8". Does the Celestron Astro Solar Filter 8 fit this telescope? Do you have a flexible dew shield/dew zapper for this telescope? What control system does the "zapper" use? Thanks, Rene
A: Yes, the Celestron 8-inch Astro Solar Filter should fit your Meade scope. So should AstroZap's Baader solar filter (http://telescopes.com/products/astrozap-baader-solar-filter-for-8-inch-scts-34707.html). AstroZap also makes a nice Flexi-Heat Shield for your scope (http://telescopes.com/products/astrozap-flexi-heat-dew-shield-for-78-inch-sct-42791.html). It works with either a Kendrick or Dew Buster controller.
